Anne Taylor shares why it is important to talk happy when it comes to language learning... It is important to have a more positive attitude towards life as it aids learning and adds to the quality of life.Keep a look out. Watch and listen for all the good things that are happening that you hear about. Listen to people talking,. listen to your neighbours , your family and friends. Focus on the good things. Search for them in newspapers and magazines. There are plenty of them every day. Send them in to share in the ezine in The Language of Happy News. |

Learning Tips Mnemonics Any technique which helps you remember is called a mnemonic. It provides a “trigger” and/or a sequence for memory.e.g. Richard Of York Goes Battling In Vain gives the first letter and correct sequence of the colours of the rainbow.
Be creative and make up your own. An acronym provides the first letter as a trigger.Try one of your own. Simply the exercise of making up your own will also act as a trigger.Have fun with both and make them funny if possible. They often are in any case. Anne Taylor |
